In 2010 Olivia was presented as a cult collection destined to be completed and implemented over the course of time. Today Giulio Iacchetti wanted to enrich it with a single piece: the bathtub.

The design for all of the elements in the Olivia family features a uniquely soft, enveloping and continuous.

Fascinated by the novelty of working in bathroom furnishings, a sector new to him, Iacchetti has shared his vision of recognisably simple industrial design, destined to outlast passing fads and trends, with CERAMICA GLOBO.

For Iacchetti, the process for creating an eco-sustainable design starts the very moment one identifies a project’s “ability” to last. Design and sustainability are both factors that have contributed towards the success of the collection, which guarantees considerable water savings in its urinals and toilets, both wall-hanging and floor-standing alike. The design approach adopted by Giulio Iacchetti for Olivia has seen the contribution of all those that work in the company, from technicians to craftsmen, sales staff to marketing managers: all were involved in the meetings held at regular intervals to provide their input for what the artistic director called the “warehouse of ideas”.
